Responsibly Accountable
I heard it again today. You know, those short statements that just tear your insides out when you hear them. This time it was the old, "I'm a responsible person" routine from someone who was definitely not.
The thing is, this person had no clue. They really "thought" that they WERE responsible. And that's the sad part. They showed all the signs that they were not responsible, but none of the awareness.
And it is important to be aware of this in business. From an entrepreneurial standpoint it's critical to know what responsibility is all about when it comes to us and those we employ. To get a firm grip on it, let's contrast the word "responsibility" with another word, "accountability."
So, what is the difference between these two? Good question. If you're ready for the truth, this information is life changing!
